Test results can be requested via the askmyGP portal.
Most test results are available one week after they have been taken, although there are some exceptions e.g. nail clippings or skin biopsies.
It is your responsibility to check your results.
Blood Tests
This service is now available 5 days per week at a number of community clinics in the Wigan & Leigh area including:
- Astley Clinic
- Tyldesley Clinic
- Leigh Walk in Centre
- Leigh Infirmary

Fasting Blood Tests
Do not have anything to eat or drink for 12 hours before the test is due to be done.
Results
Patients need to contact the surgery after 11.30 am for results of X-rays, scans, blood and urine tests requested by the doctors.
