Mental Health Support

Mental Health Support Hub. Walk in, no appointment needed. For ages 18+

GP, Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Nurse, Evening & Weekend Appointments

If you are unable to get an appointment with your own GP, patients registered with a GP in the Wigan Borough can access evening and weekend appointments.

NHS 111

NHS 111 is a free phone service that is available 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. It offers a one stop number for patients with urgent, but not life threatening symptoms. NHS 111 can offer telephone advice, put you in touch with other services, GP appointments and timed appointments at A&E.

Minor Injury and Minor Illness

Walk in Centres treat most injuries or illnesses that are urgent but not life threatening. For example: sprains and strains, fractures, minor burns and scalds, minor head injuries, bites and stings, infected wounds, minor eye problems such as infections and scratches.
